In winter, the area around Prinsengut transforms into a true paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. The Hochmaisbahn gondola is just approximately 500 metres from the property, offering direct access to the Hochkönig ski resort.
The Hochkönig ski resort connects the villages of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach and offers over 120 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes for beginners, families and experienced skiers. Modern lifts, cosy mountain huts and a breathtaking mountain panorama make for unforgettable ski days.
Beyond skiing, the region also offers plenty of activities off the slopes. A cross-country ski trail runs directly past Prinsengut, ideal for a sporty loop through the snowy winter landscape. Winter hikes, cosy hut visits or excursions by gondola also provide a varied winter experience.

One of our absolute favourites: the Königstour with 135 kilometres of slopes – and Prinsengut is right in the middle of it all.

With its 1.5 km run illuminated at night, the Grünegg Alm offers one of the most scenic toboggan runs in the whole of Salzburg province.
